Congressman George Radanovich Visits Cyber High

   

On April 5, 1999 Congressman George Radanovich (R-19th-CA) took the time to visit the Cyber High staff, at the Fresno County Office of Education, and received an orientation about the Cyber High Project. Also in attendance were several business community members with other FCOE administrators, including Dr. Peter G. Mehas - Superintendent, Mr. Don Collins - Deputy Superintendent for Educational Services, and Ms. Armen Bacon - Executive Assistant to the Superintendent.

Presentations were made by the Cyber High Staff and a student from Casa Blanca Continuation/Opportunity High School, Daniel Diaz. A panel of students from Casa Blanca were also available to answer questions, from the student perspective, for the congressman.  These students were Abel Lara, John Nuñez, Maria Salazar,and Daniel Diaz.  The students were accompanied by Mr. Rudy Salazar, Principal of Casa Blanca Continuation/Opportunity High School and Mr. Don Wagner, Principal of Special Projects.
