California Assembly Member Sarah Reyes

   

California State Assembly Member, Sarah Reyes (District 31) attended a presentation about Cyber High given by Cyber High Staff and students from Fowler Unified.

Those in attendance were Dr. Peter G. Mehas - Superintendent, Fresno County Schools; Dr. Lawrence Wilder - Asst. Superintendent, Governmental Relations; Mr. Don Collins - Deputy Superintendent, Educational Services; Dr. Guido Prambs - California State PASS Director/Challenge Grant Director; Ms. Carol Lopez - PASS Curriculum Coordinator; Mr. Rudy Salazar - Principal, Casa Blanca Continuation High School, Fowler Unified; and Mr. Don Wagner - Principal, Special Projects, Fowler Unified.

The students from Fowler Unified gave personal testimony about how Cyber High has assisted them in catching up in missed credits.  Daniel Diaz showed the audience how he uses Cyber High on a daily basis by demonstrating a lesson.  The students also answered questions posed by Assembly Member Reyes and Ms. Hogue.

The students that participated in the presentation are Daniel Diaz, Abel Lara, John Nuñez, and Maria Salazar.  Maria, a senior, shared with those present that she will graduate on schedule due to the work she has completed through Cyber High.
