Logins & Passwords

Why can my students log onto some computers but not others in the lab?

Each new student is enrolled and given a login account using a Cyber High administrative computer. The user clicks "Upload Passwords" to send the account information to the Cyber High server. For a student to be able to login to the other computers, the administrator must "update them" by logging in to each of the other computers and clicking "Upload Passwords". This will transfer all login accounts from the Cyber High server to the other computers in the lab.

Note that teachers can instruct students to update their computers by having them log in and click on Student Manage > Get Accounts > Get New Logins button.

Why won't the Cyber High program accept the login and password I am trying to give a student?

Only one specific login is allowed per school site. If a login is already taken, it can't be added again. For example, if the login "clopez" has been used once, it can't be used again. Try changing the login slightly and see if that will then be accepted.

I originally used a temporary school ID to evaluate Cyber High. I have now received my school's actual school ID. Why doesn't my old login work anymore?

Each computer must be dedicated to one school and all created logins will only work for that one school. Once a computer is re-registered as a new school, the temporary school's logins will not work.

Why doesn't my Cyber High Program login and password work on the Cyber High website?

The Cyber High Program uses a different login than our Cyber High Website. The program is fully functional software that must be installed individually on each computer and its use is limited to these computers.  In contrast, our website is available to everyone on the Internet. It is not a functional program. It's main purpose is to inform people about our program.
