Testing

Do we need to print out a Certificate of Completion at the end of a test? What happens if a test score can't be registered?

It is always a good idea to print a copy as a backup. If a test score cannot be registered successfully, for whatever reason, the Certificate of Completion can be faxed to the PASS/Cyber High Office so that the student receives credit for the test.

If a test score cannot be registered because the network is down temporarily, it is saved on the computer until the next time a test score is registered from that computer. The next time a test score is successfully registered from that computer, this "pending" test score is sent to be posted to our database.

If you want to immediately send a "pending" test score:

  1. Login to Cyber High as an administrator.
  2. Click the "Take a unit test" button on the toolbar.
  3. On the Teacher login screen, click the "Register Tests" button to the right of the login textbox.
  4. The Internet Transfer box will display showing that all "pending" tests on that computer are being sent.

How do I know if a test score has been registered successfully?

It is now possible, from your own computer, to view all of your school's students' test scores in our database. After a test score has been registered, wait a few minutes for the test score to be posted to our database. Then log into Cyber High as a teacher or administrator.

  1. Open the Management Folder.
  2. Click the View Report link.
  3. Download the most current school data by clicking on Utilities > Get Student Data > Get All.
  4. After the Internet Transfer process completes, enter the student's ID in the Go To Student# textbox and hit the Enter key.
  5. The student's record will display. Courses that that student has taken will be listed on the left side of the screen. The unit scores for the top left course will be shown on the right side of the screen. To view another course's test scores, click on the course name on the left.
