PASS Workbook Courses:
Please be advised that on September 1, 2009, nine (9) revised PASS Workbook courses and two (2) new PASS Workbook courses will be released:
- Algebra 2A - Revised
- Algebra 2B - Revised
- Basic Math A - Revised
- Learning in the Information Age A – New - Replaces Study Techniques
- Learning in the Information Age B – New - Replaces Applied Learning Methods
- Career Exploration - Revised
- World History A - Revised
- World History B - Revised
- Biology A Spanish - Revised
- Biology B Spanish - Revised
- U.S. History A Spanish – Revised
All units for the revised courses listed above, must be finished including testing before September 1, 2009.
It is imperative that students are informed that there will be no testing available for any of the revised PASS Workbook courses after August 31, 2009.
Beginning September 1, 2009, students must begin working in the revised courses since no paper or electronic tests will be available for the previous versions.
If a student does not complete a unit or take the corresponding unit exam for any of the revised courses listed above by September 1, 2009, the student will have to start the unit over in the revised version.
The student may continue with the next unit in the revised course. For example, if the student completed Unit 3 of Career Exploration, she may continue with Unit 4 in the 2009 version of Career Exploration. All credits earned in the original course will continue to accrue.
Cyber High Computer Courses:
Please be advised that on September 1, 2009, four (4) revised Cyber High Computer courses and six (6) new Cyber High Computer courses will be released:
- Pre-Algebra - Revised
- Algebra 2B - Revised
- Writing Composition A - New
- American Literature A - New
- American Literature B - New
- Grammar Through Literature A – New
- Grammar Through Literature B - New
- Math Skills Review – Revised
- English 3A - Revised
- Learning in the Information Age A – New - Replaces Study Techniques
Applied Learning Methods Will Be Discontinued and the replacement course, Learning in the Information Age B will not be available until further notice.
All units for the revised Cyber High Computer courses listed above, must be finished including testing before September 1, 2009.
