Course Description

Relationships within the family unit continue to change as children move through adolescence to adulthood. The stress that individuals face due to a rapidly changing environment, has resulted in more young people experiencing interpersonal conflicts, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, child abuse, and sexually transmitted infectious diseases such as HIV. Therefore, it is essential to include Family Life Education in the curriculum of young secondary students.

  • Explain the relationship between personal choices and quality of life
