Scantron Use

   

Here are some suggestions to ensure that your students' Scantron exams will be scored and posted efficiently:

  1. Make sure that each student is enrolled in Cyber High BEFORE you send each student’s Scantrons
  2. Use #2 pencil on all Scantrons, NO PENs
  3. Do not staple or use paper clips on the Scantrons
  4. Double check each scantron  to see that:
    • I.D. is correct, (same as the I.D. in Cyber High)
    • Birthdate is correct
    • First & Last Names is the same as the Student’s Name entered in Cyber High
    • School Name is correct
    • Course Title and Unit Number are correct
    • Each Scantron is signed by the teacher

Recommendation

It is highly recommended that the local PASS contact person make a copy of each exam before sending it to the PASS Program Office. In the event that a test does not reach the PASS office, the local contact person can then resubmit the exam so that the student does not have to retake it. The grading machine can only read original Scantron forms. Therefore, any resubmitted Scantron must be re-marked onto an original form.
